Just got married last week and had a fantastic time with friends, family and of course – the bride!
My wife spent close to 2 years organising everything in her spare time while I lay in the back getting really good at saying ‘Yes’ which I suppose is practice for the years to come.
She pretty much put her stamp on everything and I was beginning to feel a bit left out – after all it was her idea on where to have it in the first place, how the tables would be arranged, the invites and everything. And to be fair it was for the best because if I had it my way the wedding would have looked more like a birthday party for an 8 year old (jumping castles, light sabres for cutlery and zombie heads for centre pieces) rather than the beautiful wedding it turned out to be.
Even so I was pretty determined to have at least one thing at the wedding I could call my own, and I did…the wedding weclome sign complete with awesome caricature 🙂
We are both back at work now after a short honeymoon in Burswood looking forward to a longer honeymoon to come in the summer.
